All-in-One Selection — 6 Teas, One Journey Through Yunnan

Explore the diversity of Yunnan tea in a single box. This curated sampler features six distinct teas — one classic black tea and five expressions of Pu-erh — each packed in an 8g portion for easy, single-session brewing. Perfect for tea lovers who want to compare styles side by side, or as an introduction for someone new to Pu-erh.

I. Ancient Black Tea
2025 · 280-Year-Old Trees · Bulang Mountain, 1,700m

From trees nearly three centuries old, grown above the mist line. Withered, rolled, and charcoal-finished in the traditional Dianhong method. Notes of wild honey and lychee. Silky. Layered. Long in the finish.

II. Bulang Ancient Tree Ripe Pu-erh Brick
2022 · Bulang Mountain

Fermented using the founder's original Five Elements method. Deep red, full-bodied, with a cooling clarity that rises through the throat as the sweetness settles. A brick made for the cellar as much as the cup.

III. No.1 Ripe Pu-erh Cake
2020 · Bulang Mountain

The ripe counterpart to Chapter II, aged since 2020. Deep, translucent, and velvety — a mature expression of the brand's signature style.

IV. No.1 Raw Pu-erh Cake
2024 · Bulang Mountain

Spring leaves, silver-tipped, from the heart of Brown Mountain. The liquor runs clear and gold — floral, brisk, and quietly persistent in its sweetness. Built to be enjoyed now, and to reward those who wait.

V. Misty Smoke Raw Pu-erh
2025 · Ban Zhang

In the tradition of the Ho family's celebrated smoked Pu-erh. Pine smoke, aged timber, and beneath it, the unmistakable wild character of Banzhang — smoke as revelation, not disguise.

VI. Honey Charm Raw Pu-erh
2025 · Ban Zhang

The rare "honeyed gene" Mr. He discovered in 2004, refined over twenty years. Wild rock honey on the nose, nectar-like on the palate. The sweetness does not rush — it remains, for the better part of an hour.

BREWING GUIDE

Ancient Arbor Black Tea:

What You’ll Need

  • 5-8g Ancient Arbor Black Tea
  • 100–150ml Gaiwan or small teapot
  • ~90°C / ~194°F water
  • Fairness Cup (optional)
  • Teacups

1. Warm the Teaware

Pour boiling water(212°F) into the gaiwan and cups to warm them.

Discard the water.

Warming enhances aroma and stabilizes brewing temperature.

2. Add the Tea

Add 5–7 grams of Raw Pu-erh into the warmed gaiwan.

Gently place the lid on top and let it rest for ~30 seconds.

The warmth of the vessel will begin to awaken the leaves.

3. Aroma Appreciation

Lift the lid and bring it close to your nose.

Take a slow breath.

4. First Brew(No need to rinse)

Pour the ~194°F water gently along the inner wall of the gaiwan, allowing it to flow down rather than directly hitting the leaves.

Steep for 10–15 seconds, then pour out completely.

5. Subsequent Infusions

Continue pouring along the wall of the gaiwan.

From the second infusion, add hot water and decant immediately.

When the flavor begins to soften, increase each infusion by 5 seconds.

Example rhythm:

  • 2nd–5th: immediate pour
  • 6th: 5 seconds
  • 7th: 10 seconds
  • 8th: 15 seconds
    …and so on.

This Ancient Arbor Black Tea can be steeped 10+ times.
