Details

Five Years of Natural Maturation

After five years of careful aging, this ripe Pu-erh has developed a mellow and gentle character, rounded and harmonious.

The liquor brews a clear chestnut-red hue, bright and luminous in the cup. An initial aged aroma rises softly, layered with subtle woody notes and a faint sweetness reminiscent of dried red dates.

Taste & Texture

Smooth and refined on the palate.
A gentle sweetness slowly spreads across the tongue, soft and comforting, leading to a relaxed and lingering throat feel.

Structure

The infused leaves are even and supple, reflecting steady craftsmanship and balanced fermentation. The tea remains stable and sweet through more than ten infusions, maintaining clarity without sharpness.

Character

An excellent everyday ripe Pu-erh — approachable, balanced, and quietly expressive.
It reflects the gentle transformation that time brings to well-crafted fermented tea.

Brewing Guide

What You’ll Need

  • 5–8g Ripe Pu-erh tea
  • 100–150ml Gaiwan or small teapot
  • 100°C / 212°F water
  • Fairness Cup (optional)
  • Teacups

1. Warm the Teaware

Pour boiling water into the gaiwan and cups to warm them.

Discard the water.

Warming enhances aroma and stabilizes brewing temperature.

2. Add the Tea

Add 5–7 grams of Ripe Pu-erh into the warmed gaiwan.

Gently place the lid on top and let it rest for ~30 seconds.

The warmth of the vessel will begin to awaken the leaves.

3. Aroma Appreciation

Lift the lid and bring it close to your nose.

Take a slow breath.

4. Quick Rinse (Awakening the Tea)

Pour the water gently along the inner wall of the gaiwan, allowing it to flow down rather than directly hitting the leaves.

Steep for 5–10 seconds, then discard.

5. First Brew

Add boiling water again.

Steep for 10–15 seconds, then pour out completely.

6. Subsequent Infusions

Increase steeping time gradually:

  • 2nd: 15 seconds
  • 3rd: 20 seconds
  • 4th+: add 5–10 seconds each round

This Ripe Pu-erh can be steeped 7-8 times.
